Designed with care. Guided with experience.

Hi, I’m Natasha, but you can call me Tash. I’m the one woman band behind Graceful Space, creating thoughtful, practical interiors that support real life.

My path into interior design wasn’t a straight line and that’s very much part of how I work.

Before Graceful Space, I spent years as an insurance broker and was married to a builder. That background gave me a deep understanding of construction, problem solving, and how to navigate complex processes calmly and clearly. During Covid, I returned to study, completed my Diploma of Interior Design, and launched Graceful Space bringing together my design training with years of hands on experience working alongside trades and managing high pressure situations.

A collaborative, steady hand through your project

I believe good design is always collaborative. My role isn’t to simply say yes it’s to guide, question, refine and support you through the decision making process, so your home truly reflects how you want to live.

I act as a translator between vision and execution, bridging the gap between client and builder. I’m fluent in “builder speak” and comfortable liaising directly with trades to ensure your intentions are clearly understood and carried through. And when the unexpected pops up (as it often does in construction) calm, practical problem solving is where I really shine.

Think of me as an experienced sounding board, an advocate for your ideas, and an extra layer of reassurance throughout the process.

Design that respects the emotional side of home

I know that projects involving your home can be deeply personal and emotional. Life is rarely linear, and our spaces often need to evolve alongside us. Having lived a life full of twists and turns myself, I bring empathy, patience and perspective to every project creating spaces that feel supportive, functional and grounded, not just beautiful.

Outside the studio

When I’m not designing spaces, I’m raising two kids, co-existing with two cats, volunteering for school events, chasing live music, attempting to garden, and escaping into nature whenever I can.

If you’re looking for a designer who brings clarity, care and practical expertise to your project, I’d love to work with you.

Let’s talk about your space.

What People Are Saying

Graceful Space delivered excellent advice on renovating and planning the space in a dated art deco bathroom and staging our unit for a Real Estate Campaign. Natasha catered to our budget and dealt with a myriad of unforeseen problems efficiently, ensuring a speedy and cost effective solution. Graceful Space created a beautiful space which incorporated all the elements of good design, maximising a small space to be functional and stylish. Natasha staged the unit and managed it throughout the campaign. We were very happy with the great result and will use her services again.

We are so thrilled with our new WFH office! For 2 years it had been just a storage room in our house, as we weren’t sure how to make it look nice! We have worked with Natasha from Graceful Space twice , for both our living room and now this office , and both rooms have turned out amazing! Natasha has a gift for design and can work with any budget to make a room realise its true potential. Working from home is so much more enjoyable now, and it’s the perfect place for working, relaxing, and reading!
